"I enjoyed myself thoroughly. . . the class was great! I have been dancing for about 3 years and have never gotten the opportunity to learn the things I learned Saturday. I really wasn't sure what I had gotten into, but I knew what I was hoping to get out of it. I was hoping to leave feeling confident in my dancing and to look smooth while dancing across the floor. I was also hoping I could become more comfortable while doing the swing. While moving throughout the day, I learned a lot! I learned to trust your partner to lead you in the way that you should go, which was something I always had a problem with because I always try to take control. I also learned to control my turns so it doesn't look like I'm swirling out of control. I also learned that swing can be FUN when you know what you're doing and how to do it. "The wedding went great! We can't really complain about too much. I do have to say that we chickened out on the dancing a little. We did some of the moves, but added a lot more of the swaying than we planned for. We did get compliments and "ooohhhs and aaahhhhs," on our dancing, and we were much more confident than we would have been, so we aren't lost causes after all. We would like to continue to learn. It was a lot of fun, and we really love to dance!"
